Welcome to Murariyogashala

Yoga Retreat

Yatra, which is derived from the Sanskrit word meaning "journey," entails a pilgrimage to spiritual destinations like temples, monuments, and sacred sites. Our yatra in South India comprises visits to holiest places of worship while continuing our yoga practices (sadhana).

The journey holds a significance and is an act of devotion as well. Pilgrims believe that visiting sacred sites purifies the soul and brings them closer to the divine. The yatra fosters a sense of belonging, purifies the heart, and offers a sense of self-completion in life. A pilgrimage is believed to remove past-life sins in your future life journey.

During the yatra, you will have the opportunity to connect with other yatris and devoted individuals from various parts of India. Get immersed yourself in the heartfelt devotion and sincerity. In other words, it is a part of Indian bhakti tradition, which holds immense power and purifies your inner vibes.
As revealed in sacred texts, ancient sages used to perform tapas (austerities, meditation) and other spiritual practices in these sacred sites. Consequently, these sacred places are guided by spiritual forces that has the power of dispelling entire negativities and guiding you towards the paths of wisdom (jnana), devotion (bhakti), and self-realization.
